This year Beta club has several teachers who have volunteered to help Southeast Middle establish the best Beta Club. Though there is only one sponsor and three co-sponsors many teachers are involved with making Beta Club a wonderful organization at Southeast Middle.

            Beta Club is a honors service organization focused on developing students as leaders. We engage in many fundraising events that will benefit different organizations in our community. In order for students to become members of Beta Club they must acquire and maintain a 3.0 G.P.A. Any questions on eligibility should be directed to the sponsor.

We are proud to say that the Beta Club has raised over $400 dollars in our Pennies for the PA fund-raiser supporting the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

When all the votes were tallied, Ms. Solar was the winner and treated her loyal students with a unique remix of “The Fresh Prince of Bellaire”
