Keyboarding

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE

Keyboarding is a semester class where students learn to type by touch, develop techniques, accuracy and speed and skills for using the keyboard and computer that they will use for many years to come. The student will be involved in problems, projects, creating documents and formatting them, in addition to other things.

TEXTBOOK

The Textbook for this class is Keyboarding Connections – Project and Application.  I have a class set of books.  No textbook will be sent home unless a student has been absent for an extended time and they need to catch up with the class. I also allow students to check out a book to use outside of class if they would like to practice for self improvement.
